What is Hydrolyzed Sponge
Hydrolyzed Sponge is a kind of extract from a very special freshwater sponge, it is in form of powder with good fluidity. According to the sequence of spicule content from low to high, the appearance colors present as brown, light brown, gray and white. If you observe by microscope of 100X, you will find they are constituted by micro silica bones with needle-like, and there’s an inner hole formed naturally inside the bone. Both ends of spicules are circular or pointed, the perfect spicule has length of 150um ~ 350um and diameter of 15um, it is a natural bio-needle.
Its special physical characteristics make it possible be used to take place of microneedles for skin rejuvenation therapy and take place of nano needles for ingredients infusion while breaking away from the application limitation of needles device.

Hydrolyzed Sponge Length Comparison
The hydrolyzed sponges manufactured by COSMOBIOTECH are primarily differentiated into three types according to the length of the microneedles: 100 micrometers, 200 micrometers, and 300 micrometers. Microneedles of varying lengths penetrate the skin to different depths, thus their main applications in cosmetics also vary.
200 um：Can penetrate to the stratum spinosum offering moderate stimulation. This depth not only aids in the renewal of the stratum corneum but also stimulates cell metabolism in the stratum spinosum, promoting collagen production.
300 um：Capable of reaching the stratum basale directly, these spicules achieve profound cellular stimulation and activation. They accelerate metabolism, reduce pore congestion, boost collagen production, and significantly shorten the natural cell renewal cycle from the usual 28 days to about 7 days.

How To Use Hydrolyzed Sponge
1.Clean skin first. Avoid using clean products with surfactant.
2. To find a clean container (disinfection before use), mix and mask powder and solution, disperse evenly.
3. Take a small amount of spoon, apply on the skin along the opposite direction of skin pores. Use finger pulp to press gently against the pores for 5-10 minutes, be sure not to rub the skin. Please avoid the skin around the eyes, just only apply on the cheeks, forehead and chin, await for the absorbtion of solution and the mask slightly powder, use a clean wet towel disinfected and gently wipe off the excess powder floating on the skin.
4. In the spongilla peeling mask therapy, do not rub the skin, the tingling is normal because spicules are entering into skin, and this feeling is acceptable for most people.
5. After treatment, please avoid using any kind of cleansing products with surfactants, using water less than 36 centi-degree is allowed. It’s normal phenomenon if redness, itching and peeling happen, skin moisturing will help to relieve, and this discomfort will disappear in 3-5 days. Do the best UV protection and make-up is forbidden.
6. We suggest the treatment cycle is 1-2 times/month at most.
